about RAKA STUDIO
Lahore, Pakistan
This collection blends Raka Studio’s flair for artisanal, sculptural forms with Courtney’s colorful, whimsical style. The resulting pieces are functional and fantastical.
The designs channel the surreal charm of the Alice in Wonderland into five striking pieces of collectible furniture and lighting: a daybed, vanity chair, wall sconce, mirror, and light fixture.
THE COLLECTION
Hand-formed bentwood frame. No two pieces are identical. Made to be looked at as much as looked into.
THE DAYBED
THE WALL CONSOLE
Raka is built by three brothers. Everything is made by hand using a stack lamination technique developed over years of making including thin strips of wood stacked, glued, ground, and hand-sanded into form. The studio makes furniture, lighting, and objects for clients internationally.
01 / 05
Sculptural in silhouette, generous in proportion. Translated in bentwood and natural upholstery - a piece that sits like furniture and reads like sculpture.

THE VANITY CHAIR
Whimsical in form, precise in craft. A chair that makes getting ready feel like a ceremony..
A wall-mounted bentwood console - minimal in depth, maximal in presence.
